Kelly Garcia lived in Namihira, Yomitan from 2005-2009. During her time in Okinawa she taught English as a Foreign Language, worked as a picture framer, ate her way around the island as food editor of the web site Okinawa Hai, and gave birth to an ten-pound son, Gabriel. Kelly recently relocated to Hampton Roads, Virginia and is trying to transition to life outside of Okinawa gracefully! She's very excited to be pregnant with her second baby, a little girl.
